Andrew went to medical school in Edinburgh. Thereafter Andrew undertook his basic surgical training in Edinburgh before completing his training on the prestigious Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry. Andrew then spent a year on fellowship as the National Spine Fellow in Leeds.
Developing his expertise and learning a variety of techniques. These included minimally invasive spine surgery , complex lumbar spine surgery, cervical surgery (the neck), complex reconstructive surgery and revision spine surgery.
