Scott Barker is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in complex upper limb trauma and joint replacements, including shoulder, hip, and knee surgeries. After completing his medical degree at Aberdeen University in 2001, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2012. He further honed his expertise through specialist fellowships in Australia before taking up an NHS Consultant position in Aberdeen in 2014. Currently, he serves at Woodend Hospital for elective procedures and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for trauma cases, and also holds an Honorary Clinical Lectureship at the University of Aberdeen.
